"One day I want to make a movie about my life. I don't want anyone to have to go through what I had to go through... When people see the movie, they might get ideas on how to solve their problems, too."

Jamila, 19 years, KiCA-Team film production

"It all started with a global YouTube music project. I never thought I would end up in Kibera and found an organization as a result. Everyone should be able to live well and develop. Culture makes us strong. That's where we start."

Monika Herold, founder of "Creative Connection for Communities e.V."
